CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The heat and humidity ramp up today with highs in the low 90s with a mix of sun and clouds. While not nearly widespread, there will be a few t-storms that develop later this afternoon with the primary impacts being gusty winds 60+ mph and quarter-sized hail.
Sunday morning may start off damp with a few showers possible and temperatures near 70. Highs will be in the middle 80s with hit or miss t-storms for the afternoon and evening. Once again, these will have a chance to turn severe, but only an isolated risk.

We’ll start off Monday mostly dry, thanks to a front bringing in some slightly cooler, drier air. But don’t get too comfortable — more moisture will move in by Monday night, bringing back showers and thunderstorms.
