(Gray News) – U.S. officials are recalling a number of strollers after a risk of young children becoming entrapped in them was discovered.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CSPC) is warning consumers to stop using Magic ZC-branded model V9 infant strollers.

The CSPC said the strollers pose a risk of death or serious injury to babies due to the entrapment hazard, which can be caused due to an opening between the seat and grab bar. This risk violates the federal stroller regulation.

Officials also said the handheld infant carrier accessory sold with the stroller fails to meet the markings, labeling and instructional pamphlet requirements under the current carrier standard.

The strollers are manufactured in China, and the CPSC said it issues a Notice of Violation to Dongguans
