EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Evansville Police say they arrested a woman who attacked a victim with a knife, then showed up at the hospital to check on them.
Officers were dispatched to the hospital late Sunday night, where they spoke to a victim who said 21-year-old Amiyah Render had cut them with a knife.
According to EPD, the victim had a large laceration on their head and, another large laceration on their right thigh.
As officers were speaking with the victim at the hospital, they say the victim was headed into surgery.
Police say they found Render in the lobby of the emergency room, who had showed up to check on the victim's condition.
Render was taken to EPD Headquarters and eventually the Vanderburgh County Jail. She's charged with domestic battery with a deadly weapon.
