Murder investigation underway in Princeton, suspect found dead by suicide

PRINCETON, Ind. (WEVV) — Authorities say a murder investigation is underway in Gibson County.

Officials told 44News on Tuesday that the investigation is taking place in an area of West Garfield Avenue in Princeton.

Our news crew is at the scene of the Baldwin Apartments, where the investigation is taking place.

The investigation stared when someone found a victim in the passenger seat of a vehicle, covered in blood. When officers arrived at the scene, they confirmed the victim had passed away.

A "Be On The Lookout" was previously issued for a white vehicle and Richard Ingle, but was canceled after that Ingle was located.

We have now learned that Ingle was found dead from a suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Authorities say the victim in this investigation was also shot.
