14th annual Give to Lincoln Day features record number of nonprofits

The 14th annual Give to Lincoln Day on Thurday will feature a record number of nonprofits.

There are 502 nonprofits registered for the annual day of giving that encourages people to donate to causes they care about.

Last year’s event raised a record $8.5 million for 463 local nonprofits. The event has raised $65 million since 2012. 

“Last year’s record-breaking results demonstrate what we can accomplish when we come together to give for good,” said Tracy Edgerton, Lincoln Community Foundation president. “During this time of uncertainty for many local nonprofits, a gift on Give to Lincoln Day represents more than just dollars It’s a show of support for their important work that adds so much to our quality of life here in Lincoln.”
