ESCANABA — Escanaba junior Lennox Peacock is known for his talents on the pitcher’s mound.

With a fastball flirting at 90 mph like two puppies falling in love and a knee-buckling off-speed arsenal to pair with it, it’s no surprise that countless college baseball programs are knocking at his door to add his services.

With a 4-1 lead and his no hitter no longer intact Peacock stepped to the plate in the Eskymos’ opening game in Saturday’s triangular showdown against Negaunee. He worked a 3-1 pitch against Miners’ pitcher Evan DellAngelo. The next pitch was smacked to left field and over the fence for a two-home run.
