ATLANTIC CITY — A city boy was arrested last week after he allegedly threatened to shoot his ex-girlfriend and her mother before becoming combative with officers who tried to arrest him, police said.
The 17-year-old was charged with terroristic threats, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a defaced firearm, resisting arrest and obstruction of justice. He was sent to the Harborfields juvenile detention facility in Egg Harbor City and later released.
Officers responded to the 2900 block of Fairmount Avenue on Wednesday after the girl and her mother reported the boy made the threats while sitting in a vehicle across the street, police said.
As officers asked the boy to step out of the vehicle, he began to argue with them and resist arrest. He was eventually taken into custody wi
