UNION CITY, N.J. (PIX11) -- Looking to get back on track, New Jersey Transit commuters had to endure one more day without rail service.

"It's easier than the buses," said Jonathan Goebel, a visitor from North Carolina. "Less wait time, you can get from point A to point B just like that with the train station."

Goebel and Joshua Brown are visiting the area for the first time and are looking forward to getting around on the rails.

"This is going to help us significantly," said Goebel. "We don't have to wait for the bus or anything, it's going to be great."

"Today, having to use the bus to get from New York to New Jersey, and then having to use the bus to get around New Jersey, I think being able to use the train will make it a lot more accessible for tourists," said Brown.
