A Woodbine man was arrested Monday after he allegedly downloaded and shared multiple pieces of child pornography, the Cape May County Prosecutor's Office said.

Brandon M. Nicolosi, 25, was charged with possession of child sexual abuse material. He is being held in the Cape May County jail.

Authorities began investigating Nicolosi after a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children revealed he had several pornographic images on his electronic devices, the Prosecutor's Office said Tuesday in a news release.

Members of the Prosecutor's Office, the county SWAT team, State Police, U.S. Homeland Security Investigations and the FBI searched Nicolosi's home Thursday, seizing cellphones and laptops, the Prosecutor's Office said. Investigators determined the devices contained
