KEARNEY, Neb. (KSNB) - A Kearney child sexual assault case is moving to trial court.

Court records show 67-year-old Jerry Hill is charged with two counts of first-degree sexual assault on a child. After a Wednesday probable cause hearing, a judge transferred his case to Buffalo County District Court for possible trial.

An arraignment hearing is scheduled for July 20.

A judge sealed court records with details of the case against Hill, but the charges filed against him indicate that two children, ages 4 and 6 years old, were assaulted between April 2024 and April 2025.

Hill is in jail at the Buffalo County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond.
