A cameraman at the Internationaux de Strasbourg has come under fire from Danielle Collins as the American was left unimpressed by the TV operator’s “wildly inappropriate” behaviour.

Collins took on Emma Raducanu during the second round of the WTA 500 tournament with the incident occurring midway during deciding set with to score 3-3 and both players sitting on their benches at the changeover.

The world No 46 gets up from her seat and starts walking towards the water cooler and then tells the cameraman: “I need to get water. We’re on a changeover. You don’t need to be that close to me, and you don’t need to be on top of Emma.

“It’s like wildly inappropriate. It’s not that difficult to give space. I’m sorry.”

And to be fair to Collins, at the end of the video the cameraman can seen stand
