WILLIAMSBRIDGE, The Bronx (PIX11) – Police are searching for the two suspects accused of attacking an 89-year-old woman waiting for a bus in the Bronx on Monday.
Police said it happened near 211th Street and White Plains Road around noon. The woman got into an argument with one of the suspects, who allegedly slapped her in the face, according to authorities.
Police said the other suspect allegedly shoved the woman to the ground, causing serious injuries.
The woman was taken to a local hospital by EMS in critical condition, according to authorities.
Police said one suspect boarded the MTA bus while the other fled on foot.
