The road to the 2025 Women's College World Series continues this weekend with the super regionals.

Despite earning the No. 2 overall seed in the NCAA softball bracket , Patty Gasso and the Oklahoma Sooners now have the best remaining team in the field following No. 1 Texas A&M being upset by Liberty in the Bryan-College Station Regional. The Sooners are seeking a fifth consecutive national championship.

The Aggies' loss has major ramifications, as they became the first No. 1 seed to be knocked out of a regional and also allowed No. 16 Oregon to earn a chance to host the Flames in the Eugene Super Regional this weekend.
