KSLA NewsSHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - After a 10-year hiatus, ARTPORT returns with an evening of creativity, connection, and a celebration of Shreveport-Bossier.
On June 5, starting at 5:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m., ARTPORT returns after a 10-year hiatus, dedicating an evening to unveiling the original works of over 80 local and regional artists at the Shreveport Regional Airport , 5103 Hollywood Avenue.
The event will be the 16th ARTPORT exhibition. The theme is “In Southern Dimension”, paying tribute to the rich music history, landscapes, and cultural legacy of Shreveport-Bossier. For the first time the exhibition has expanded beyond just canvas and is introducing culture, digital art, murals, and large-scale paintings.
