Two special COA grads who chased their dreams

The speakers at this year’s May 13 College of the Albemarle Dare Campus commencement are living proof that it’s never too late to chase your dreams.

Robert Wernock, 50, and Alice Turney, 74, are not exactly typical college students, but both graduated this year—and in doing so, inspired faculty, fellow students and themselves.
