LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lincoln Police are investigating after receiving multiple reports of gunshots outside an apartment complex early Friday morning.

Officers responded to the area of Berkshire Court shortly after 2 a.m. Upon arrival, a man reported that he and his roommate saw two to three men wearing ski masks near his vehicle. When they went outside to confront the suspects, they got into a dark-colored sedan and began to drive away.

According to police, the vehicle stopped about a block away, and as the roommates began to run, they heard two to three gunshots behind them.

No injuries were reported, and officers did not find any damage or shell casings during their investigation.
