FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A man who confessed to shooting someone on Mother's Day in Fresno was arrested Thursday, the Fresno Police Department said.

On May 11 at around 7:20 p.m., officers from the Southwest Policing District responded to the area of Belmont Avenue and First Street regarding a victim of a gunshot wound, police said.

Upon arrival, officers located the victim, who was transported to Community Regional Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.

Officers and detectives were able to locate the video of the suspect, which was shared on their social media pages.

Due to a tip, police say they were able to identify the suspect as Andy Ramos and obtained an arrest warrant.
