THIS is the disastrous moment a gender reveal party was sent into chaos as the “dry ice” forced everyone to evacuate the home.

UK-based Amy Hamer, 30, had set up a camera to capture the reaction of friends and family as they gathered to find out if she was having a baby boy or girl.

The couple decided to use dry ice - the solid form of carbon dioxide (CO2) - for the big moment, with plans that the smoke would turn pink for a girl or blue for a boy.

Amy, CEO of NKD Apparel, and her husband were initially over the moon to find out they were having a girl.

However, things quickly spiraled out of control as intense levels of pink smoke started filling the lounge.

Instead of the moment being celebrated, everyone was forced to evacuate the room and had to stand in the cold in the garden.
