Dare Ed Board voices support for ‘significant salary increases for school employees’

Update: EdNC reported that on May 20, the State Health Board of Trustees approved changes to benefits for state employees, including teachers, based on an expected deficit of $500 million. According to the story, the Trustees hope the state legislature will fund some of that deficit.

At its meeting on May 20, the Dare County Board of Education passed a resolution proposing “significant salary increases for school employees.”
