SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - The wet weather from Memorial Day will continue today.

Showers will be widespread this morning and into the afternoon, especially to the east of Highway 81. By mid-afternoon, rain will slowly decrease in coverage. Scattered showers will linger through the evening before we briefly dry out overnight.

Due to the clouds and rain, today will be cool. Highs will largely stay into the 50s, but a couple communities could rise to near 60.

The sky will dry out but still hold onto cloud cover overnight as temperatures bottom out near 50. Patchy fog is possible.

Rain will not be as widespread tomorrow, but showers are still expected late morning and through the evening. The showers will be scattered in nature and could contain a rumble of thunder.
