Originally built in 1973, a ski resort lodge is getting a fresh look before the next fresh powder.

The Pioneer Lodge at Bogus Basin is undergoing an exterior remodel on its east, west and north outside walls, new windows and an updated entry and vestibule.

Remodeling on the 12,000-square-foot structure will also include the installation of an elevator connecting all three floors, renovated restrooms, heated pavers and more, the nonprofit resort stated in a release.
