Thanks to a dominant performance in the Mountain West tournament, Fresno State is going to UCLA for an NCAA regional baseball regional.

The other teams in the bracket are are the top-seeded Bruins, No. 2 seed UC Irvine, and No. 3 seed Arizona State.

The Bulldogs (31-27, 18-12 MW) will take on the Bruins (42-16, 22-8 Big Ten) at 1 p.m. in the opener at Jackie Robinson Stadium. UC Irvine (41-15, 24-6 Big West) and Arizona State (35-22, 18-12 Big 12) square off in the second game Friday of the double-elimination regional.

Arizona State is riding a four-game losing streak and coming off a 2-0 loss to BYU in the Big 12 Tournament.

Nebraska blanked UCLA, 5-0, in the Big Ten tournament title game while UC Irvine fell 6-4 to Cal Poly SLO in the Big West title game in Fullerton.
