City pools remained closed Tuesday due to cooler weather, Parks and Recreation officials said.
Pools are scheduled to open Wednesday, weather pending.
City policy requires a high temperature of at least 70 degrees for pools to open.
As of 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, Lincoln had only touched 57 degrees with a high of 62 called for.
Wednesday isn't expected to be much warmer. The high is set to reach 69 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
Lincoln's nine city pools, which are open from 1 to 6 p.m. seven days a week, were originally set to open Monday.
