TANGIPAHOA PARISH, La. (WAFB) - Deputies said they have made more arrests following the escape of an inmate in Tangipahoa Parish.

According to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office, the inmate, Tra’Von Johnson, 22, was found in the Bennett Road area of Amite on the evening of Friday, May 23. Authorities said he managed to escape from the Tangiphaoa Parish jail a couple of days earlier.

Dameon Booth, 37, was located with Johnson following his escape and has been arrested on charges of principal to simple escape and aggravated escape, according to TPSO.
