LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Authorities are working to contact the driver who T-boned a vehicle and then crashed into a tree and light pole in central Lincoln on Saturday.

Lincoln Police said the incident began when the driver of a white Kia Soul fled from a traffic stop at 45th and J streets.

Shortly afterward, the officer found a grey Hyundai Elantra in the middle of south 40th Street with heavy rear-end damage. The 19-year-old driver from Norfolk reported she had been T-boned by another vehicle.

The woman had minor injuries to her back and ribs, and went to the hospital in a personal vehicle, LPD said.

Around 10:20 p.m., officers found the white Kia Soul in the front yard of a home near 40th and J streets. The vehicle had crashed into a tree and a light pole before coming to a stop.
