SUMNER COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Deputies with the Sumner County Sheriff's Office and officers with the Gallatin Police Department teamed up over the weekend to arrest a man accused of firing shots from a speeding vehicle.
The incident unfolded on Saturday, May 24 after deputies received a call about a car chasing another vehicle while shots were being fired. According to authorities, at least six gunshots were fired from the suspect vehicle.
Soon after, the SCSO responded to Gallatin city limits, where police were able to locate the suspect vehicle and conduct a felony stop.
Bodycam video obtained by News 2 shows the tense moments as both agencies moved into position and ordered four people to come out of the vehicle with their hands up.
