MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) -- The No. 7 train is running with severe delays as the NYPD and EMS respond to an injured employee at the Grand Central-42nd Street station.

An unknown individual kicked open the door and assaulted an employee, according to police sources.

Service to Manhattan was temporarily suspended.
