CINCINNATI (WKRC)— A newer trend in Botox and fillers is gaining popularity for its dual benefits, addressing both cosmetic concerns and medical conditions. Nurse Practitioner Donna Abdelnour from the Advanced Cosmetic Surgery and Laser Center explained that Botox injections into the masseter muscles, located on the sides of the jaw, initially served a therapeutic purpose for temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders. "So initially it was used as a therapeutic use for TMJ," said Abdelnour.
