Maple High School is celebrating the achievements of graduating junior Marisol Arguelles-Angeles, who has demonstrated exceptional growth and determination since joining the school less than a year ago.

"She has been with us for less than a year, and in that time, she has shown tremendous growth," said school counselor, Geraldo Arellano. "She came here because she struggled to attend school, which in turn made it hard to stay on track, and led to failing classes. Since being here, she has turned that around and has had excellent attendance, a great attitude, and has earned straight A's."
