Meet Marianela Nanninga

Marianela Nanninga is the CEO of ToDo Robotics, a company that sells service robots. Nanninga tells 11Alive that her showroom in Alpharetta is home to several robots that function in areas like restaurants, hospitality, retail, cleaning, and even in medical offices.

Originally from Venezuela and raised in Italy, Nanninga says she’s always been passionate about technology. "I'm Latina, I'm a woman, and I work in technology," Nanninga said. "It's not very often that I find women who work in technology, let alone Latin women."

Since moving to Atlanta in 2014, she’s become a vocal advocate for intelligent automation that supports — rather than replaces — the human workforce.
