Stolen car catches fire after crashing in Portishead
A car which was reported as stolen crashed at speed in Portishead before catching fire.
At around 10.15am on Friday, May 9, the stolen car was being driven dangerously at speed.
The red Citroen C3 collided with a rock in a memorial garden before catching fire .
The incident took place on Slade Road, at the junction with Roath Road.
Avon and Somerset Police said two people were inside the stolen vehicle.
The driver is described as a white woman in her early 20s, with dark hair and was wearing a white top and jeans.
The passenger is described as a white man in his early 20s.
The incident is being treated as isolated and house-to-house and CCTV enquiries have been carried out.
