OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma (KCBD) - Texas Tech softball continues its historic run this season, clinching a sweep in the Lubbock Regional and Tallahassee Super Regional to move on to the Women’s College World Series.

It’s been a season of firsts including this WCWS appearance. Texas Tech won both the Big 12 regular season and Big 12 Championship titles behind D1Softball’s National Pitcher of the Year NiJaree Canady.

Today, Canady, Mihyia Davis and Lauren Allred, alongside coach Gerry Glasco, addressed the media before the team’s first practice at Devon Park in Oklahoma City.
