Crash specialist says ‘totality of the evidence’ consistent with John O’Keefe being struck by Karen Read’s SUV. Here’s how Tuesday unfolded.

Testimony continued Tuesday in the murder trial of Karen Read, who is accused of backing her SUV into her Boston police officer boyfriend, John O’Keefe, and leaving him for dead.

After a lengthy sidebar session in the morning, a prosecution expert, Dr. Judson Welcher, took the stand for a brief voir dire hearing out of the jury’s presence. Shortly after, the jury came in to hear his testimony.
