OREGON, USA — The U.S. Court of International Trade has struck down many of the tariffs implemented by President Donald Trump after Oregon and several other state attorneys general sued over them. The lawsuit argued that the tariffs, issued via executive order, could not be imposed under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA).

The decision halts the existing IEEPA tariffs, as well as prevents Trump from increasing tariffs, including the threatened 145% tariffs on imports from China and 50% tariffs on imports from the European Union, according to Oregon Attorney General Dan Rayfield.
