Beginning Saturday, June 7, Rutland High School Theater Teacher Cathy Archer is leading “Act, Create, Perform! Youth Acting Theater Series” for three Saturdays at the Chaffee Art Center, on June 7, 14 and 21 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for ages 7–12.

Kids will get to work on their acting skills and learn set building and creation for the folktale “Jack and the Three Sillies,” which begins with a family celebrating their daughter’s engagement. “But disaster is in the air — or is it just silliness?” Her fiancé goes on a journey to find three people sillier than his new family.
