Todd Chrisley is officially a free man after being released from prison, Us Weekly can confirm.

"Todd has been released from prison and is on his way home to Nashville," Todd's lawyer told Us in a statement on Wednesday, May 28, noting, "We are awaiting word on Julie Chrisley ."

News broke on Tuesday, May 28, that President Donald Trump planned to pardon Todd and Julie after they were convicted of fraud in 2022.

"It's a terrible thing, but it's a great thing, because your parents are going to be free and clean," Trump said in a phone call to the couple's 27-year-old daughter, Savannah. "I hope we can do it by tomorrow. I don't know them, but give them my regards. Wish them a good life."
