May 27 (UPI) -- Reality stars Todd and Julie Chrisley were released from prison Wednesday night after President Donald Trump earlier in the day pardoned the couple who were found guilty of conspiring to defraud banks and committing tax evasion.
Todd Chrisley, 56, first walked out of a minimum-security prison in Pensacola, Fla. and hours later his 52-year-old wife, Julie, was released from the Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Ky., because of the need for medical care. They had been incarcerated since January 2023 after their conviction in federal court in Atlanta in November 2022.
Attorney Alex Little's office told Fox News they both were on their way to their home in Nashville, Tenn.
On Tuesday, Trump personally told two of their adult children he was planning to pardon them.
