LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Showers and storms remain in the forecast as we head through our Thursday and Friday before changes arrive for the weekend.
Thankfully, things are on the quiet side as you are stepping out the door this morning as rain has pushed off to our east.
While rain won’t be as widespread through the afternoon and evening, a few isolated showers and storms are certainly possible.
We’ll see a mixture of sun and clouds through the second half of the day giving us highs in the upper 80s, but feels like temperatures closer to 100 degrees.
Friday will feature a similar set up with scattered showers and storms for the afternoon and early evening.
The better rain chances look to remain along and south of I-10 for Friday with some slightly drier air working its way in for ar
