BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – A woman was stabbed while riding a D subway train in Brooklyn on May 22, according to the NYPD.
Police said it happened on a train entering the New Utrecht Avenue and 55th Street subway station around 1:50 a.m. The 25-year-old woman was approached by a man, who allegedly stabbed her in her chest and shoulders with an unknown sharp object, according to authorities.
Police said the victim got off the train at 36th Street and was taken to a local hospital by EMS.
The suspect stayed on the train, according to authorities.
