DUBLIN, Ohio (WCMH) -- The opening round of the 2025 Memorial Tournament is underway from Muirfield Village in Dublin.

The 50th edition of the central Ohio PGA Tour event began Thursday morning at 7:50 a.m. and runs through the afternoon. Defending champion Scottie Scheffler and other favorites such as Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa, and Patrick Cantlay will look to jump out to early leads on the course.

Tournament festivities kicked into high gear Wednesday with the Golden Cubs Pro-Am and the honoree ceremony for Barbara Nicklaus, wife of tournament founder Jack Nicklaus.
