A critically acclaimed Top Chef contender is bringing his unique arsenal of flavors to Denver — for one night only.
On June 25, Troy Guard, chef-owner of the popular Denver steakhouse Guard and Grace , will welcome Top Chef contender and Chopped champion Tristen Epps back to the city for a four-course dinner benefiting Work Options, according to a press release.
Work Options is a nonprofit that offers culinary skills training, individualized support services, life skills classes and job search support, according to the organization’s website.
The event marks a homecoming for Epps, an alum of Guard’s TAG Restaurant Group who previously served as executive chef at Mister Tuna , a Pan-Asian concept in Denver's River North (RiNo) which announced its closure in 2019.
