COLUMBIA, S.C. (WCSC) - A Cades man faces multiple charges associated with distributing child sexual abuse material, the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office says.
Cephus Jack Todd Jr., 52, is charged with five counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, the attorney general’s office says.
Investigators received a CyberTipline report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children which led them to Todd, who they say distributed files of explicit material involving children.
The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force investigators arrested Todd on Tuesday. The Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office and Homeland Security Investigations helped with the investigation.
If he is convicted, each count is a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
