WADESBORO, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- A woman lost her life in a shooting Wednesday night, according to Wadesboro Police.

Around 8:38 p.m. on May 28, officers were called to the Oak Hill Apartments on North Greene Street, where they found a woman shot. She died before she could be taken to a hospital.

Police say Kea’yon Dorrell Richardson, who just turned 20 years old on May 20, is wanted for murder in connection with the case. He is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees Richardson is asked to call 911.

Wadesboro Police have asked the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation to help with the case.
