A Framingham man has been charged in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed a pedestrian over the weekend, officials said Tuesday.

Stewart Anderson, 44, allegedly struck 41-year-old Julie Stewart on Route 9 Sunday night, fatally injuring her before fleeing the scene, according to a statement from Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan’s office.

He was arraigned in Framingham District Court on one count of leaving the scene of a crash resulting in injury or death, the statement said.

He has not been charged with Stewart’s death, and no further charges have been filed, according to court records. His bail was set at $100,000 with the condition that he not drive, the statement said.
