Reward for two remaining New Orleans jail escapees increased to $50,000

On day 14 of an ongoing multi-state manhunt, authorities increased the reward for a tip that leads to arrest of two remaining escaped inmates to $50,0000.

"With the increase in the reward amount today, we're going to get more tips," said Louisiana State Police Superintendent Col. Robert Hodges. "Which means we're going to close in faster."

Representatives from the FBI, ATF, Louisiana State Police, New Orleans Police Department, Homeland Security Investigations and Crimestoppers entreated the public to come forward with anonymous tips that may aid in the capture of Antoine Massey and Derrick Groves — who remain at large.

Hodges expressed confidence that the remaining two escapees would be apprehended "soon" and suspected neither has the resources to cross international borders. Every day
