Rutland City schools and teachers finalize contract agreement

Negotiations came to a formal end Tuesday as the Rutland City School Board unanimously voted to approve the new teachers’ contract.

“We’re good and ratified,” Board Chair Cathy Solsaa said on Wednesday. “We’re all very excited that we reached an agreement and averted a strike.”
