On Wednesday, the U.S. Court of International Trade ruled that the bulk of Donald Trump’s tariffs are unlawful, issuing a nationwide injunction that would put them on hold indefinitely. The three-judge panel unanimously agreed that Trump had vastly exceeded his authority and warned that his actions would, if not reined in, violate the Constitution.
