Shocking new images show the aftermath of a small village in the Swiss Alps after a massive glacier collapse. The mudslide near Blatten was caused after a large chunk of the Birch Glacier broke off, sending plumes of dust into the air and coating nearly the entire village with mud on May 28. Authorities evacuated the picturesque town a month before the disaster as a precaution. A 64-year-old man has been reported missing and search and rescue operations are still underway.
