Raucous, red, ripe and delicious — sounds like a great weekend in the Crescent City. Festivals keep things going as well as celebrations at the National WWII Museum and the Audubon Aquarium. Get ready for some good times.

A second-line kicks things off at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Oscar Dunn Park and heads to the French Market for the CREOLE TOMATO FESTIVAL . From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, there will be live music on several stages and under tents, food demonstrations, dance lessons, food vendors, kids activities and juicy tomatoes. Expect to find such delicacies as a tomato stuffed with shrimp salad, a BLT and fried tomatoes. And don't forget to pet the live gator. Get ripe and ready here.
