NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WJBF) - North Augusta Department of Public Safety has detained a subject after fleeing from officers at the SRP Federal Credit Union at 403 West Martintown Road on Thursday.

According to NADPS, the subject was part of a foot chase and sweep of the area – those traveling in the area near West Martintown Road and Carolina Avenue around 4 p.m. likely saw a large amount of law enforcement officers searching the area.

The subject was apprehended around 5 p.m. – according to NADPS, the individual was wanted by multiple agencies.
